It's been a BUSY five months in the Daige household... and I've kind of dropped the ball on the blog, so here is my attempt to play catch up :) with some of the highlights:

Tracy and Jason got married in a beautiful ceremony at the
ECHO Center on July 30, 2007.

We had a great time in Vermont visiting friends and family. I have included a four generational photo of Emma, myself, my mom, and my grandmother (on my mom's side). I believe in an earlier post you can see the
four generations of Daige men!

In the last month of summer Emma enjoyed her very first sleep-over with her friend Sydney. They enjoyed eating pizza, watching a movie, staying up late :), and making jewelry! The sleep-over was just after Emma broke her wrist in two places at Legoland!

Emma started Kindergarten at
Del Mar Hills Academy on August 27, 2007. She is in Mrs. Wheeler's class and is having a blast and growing up way too fast!

Labor Day Weekend we decided to go on a spontaneous mini family vacation to Newport Harbor. It was a great way to start out the school year.

Before the California fires that caused our evacuation, we had a small fire next to our house that was thankfully seen by our nanny. She was able to get Camden and Eris (our dog) out of the house and call 911 before any damage to homes was done!

Halloween in 2007 continued our Murray-Daige family trick-or-treating tradition. Huxley dressed up as Cinderella, Keira was Super Girl, Emma was Scooby-doo, and Camden was Fred. Camden learned very quickly how to knock on doors in order to get candy!

We spent a day at California Adventure and a day at Disneyland for Emma's fifth birthday. One of the highlights for Emma was getting to sleep in a bunk bed at the Portofino Inn :). At Disneyland Emma walked around as Snow White, she even went on Space Mountain two times! Camden's favorite ride (and Daddy's) was the Buzz Lightyear ride. Emma and Camden also enjoyed being in a band (
check out the video) at California Adventure. Chris and Emma also went on the river raft ride (
check out the video) at least five times!

Emma culminated her Beauty and Beast Dance class with a final recital. She has really grown to like dancing a lot... hopefully she'll be better at it than her mommy!
You can check out the video here... it is just a little bit of the show as our camera ran out of memory :).
